08/09/2011; So I finally got around to handing out advertising contest prizes. My creativity sorta... died. I couldn't think of anything to add to the prizes, so instead I just gave an extra 200 coins to first, second and third place. Though, we may have to have another one soon, cause this place needs more members. For now, though, I'll settle for the lovely activity check that you can find here! I've sent out a mass email to bother you all to come back, so there's no excuse for not posting in it. If you've posted an away topic, though, don't worry <3 We aren't entirely heartless and we'll take it into account.

SUMMER; Hot and humid, this summer is one to be careful of what you do. Don't overexert yourself, or you may quickly come to regret it later. The Grace Hospital is filling up with cases of heat stroke and they're quickly running out of room for the most dire cases, sometimes even resorting to turning people who need the help away due to a lack of beds. Storms to break the heat are rare, but much appreciated when they come. Looks like it'll be a hard year for farmers, too, as it's fairly dry and you can only hand-water so many crops.

Applications Use the form, please, though feel free to change the wording and add some stuff in at the end. But only at the end. Everything else must be there, in order.
Traquility Bluff Although it is named for the cliff that over looks the beach, in truth, Tranquility Bluff includes both the bluff and the beach. It is where peaceful things occur, such as a doe looking for a home, or two friends taking a stroll in the sand. This doesn't prevent some from attempting to disrupt this peace, but the sound of the waves often calm many a griff heart.
Caves of Origin These caves are often were bucks and does come to mate. However, it is said that if a doe should come alone, there may be predatory bucks waiting with ill intentions, such as force breeding or force claiming.

Blessed Valley This valley is often where does will come to give birth, though it is not necessary. However, you must post here if your doe is expecting, so as to get the statistics of the fawn(s).

Riot Ridge Any fights over land, league members, or to settle any sort of dispute will be held here. The ridge is rather rocky, and can crumble away at times, making for dangerous footing, but it is open enough for aerial battle as well.

Leagues
Gray League The home of the Grays, a legendary league of griffiths. Many do not believe they exist. They live high in the mountains, and more often than not their territory is covered with snow. However, this serves their purpose, for they are fairly neutral in league battles, preferring to keep to themselves rather than fight.
Alpha Buck ;; Phoenix Gray Alpha Doe ;;Undetermined
Moon League Dwelling within caves and the surrounding forest that make up the foothills of the mountains is the Moon League. They often think that they live the highest up, and the closest to the stars, therefore declaring them the superior league, though they are mistaken in that respect. They simply enjoy their life here, where others might not, and they are lower, by far, in altitude than the Grays.

Sun League The Sun league found their home among the long grasses of open meadows and rolling hills. There is little cover, but they prefer it this way. If large storms hit, rather than seek cover, the league will spread out their wings and form a protective umbrella of sorts for those who are young, old, or sickly.

Temple League The lands appear silent, too silent if asked to any Griffith. Here and there are statues of what appear like Griffiths. Surprisingly seeming alive, however on closer inspection you notice that they ARE in fact the Griffiths and ARE alive and breathing. They live in thin forests with lots of open spaces and what appear like ruins breaking the monotony. They are rather stand-off ish and rather let the other Leagues fight and keep out of it, although if it really comes down to it they know how to fight and once tasting blood there is no way to stop them. They also have an uncannily ability to hypnotize those who look for too long in their eyes.

You have all heard of unicorns and vampires and these sorts of things, I’m sure. They’re real, all of them. Sure, you can’t find them here on Earth, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out there. They live in a world where Earth is the story, cars and telephones nothing more than a passing joke. In this world, technology is just starting to pick up on the road to progress and magic is far more common to see. Lately, though, in the center of this world, a place called Carvalo City, a new gang has formed. They call themselves The Faith and they work in the underground tunnels and the shadows of the slums, recruiting members day after day. They think Earth is real and they think they can find a way there. With this appetizing thought, they are gaining power quickly and that’s not all. The blind are beginning to see, those with deformities beginning to heal. Some call it a miracle. Others call it a warning. The only thing solid is that there is no explanation for it, just that it started when The Faith started testing ways to reach Earth. But, is Earth really real, or is it just a story?
